Will HardCamp fit on my vehicle?
We’re compatible with most trucks, including EVs (yes, Rivian too!). We 3D-scan every make and model to ensure a perfect fit.
We are NOT compatible with Chevy Avalanche, first gen Honda Ridgeline, Hyundai Santa Cruz, Subaru Baja, or flaresides. Contact us if you don’t see your truck on the HardCamp page.
How much does HardCamp weigh?
The base weight of our campers is 490lbs. The final weight will vary depending on model and custom configuration. Benches, shelves, or even the size of your truck can increase the weight of your build.
How much space does HardCamp take up?
Hardsider is slim on the road, yet spacious when unfolded. Every build is made custom using 3D scanning to fit your truck with millimeter precision. There are no protruding sides, corners, or tops. The sleeper is 11 feet long and extends over the truck cabin. When closed, the sleeper of the HardCamp is a mere 12 inches of additional height above your cabin. The cabin width and length match your truck bed.
Can Hardsider withstand extreme weather?
Yep! Unlike traditional tents that flap in the wind and struggle with dampness, our HardWalls repel water while providing security, sound isolation, and robust protection against weather

How do you tackle insulation and condensation?
Keeping our campers thermally insulated yet lightweight is a challenge we faced head-on. By pairing our HardWalls technology and aircraft-grade aluminum, we were able to create a perfectly insulated environment. Plus, every Hardsider comes with a rooftop fan to circulate fresh air no matter the weather.
How does shipping work?
Customers are invited to come to Cincinnati, OH, where installation is included in the price of each Hardsider. The installation process can take as little as 30 minutes or up to a few hours (depending on add ons).
For those who prefer less travel, there's an option to ship your vehicle to us, and we'll handle the installation. You just do the pick up! And for those who prefer to work with an installer near them, we do that, too! We can work out the details on a build call, no problem.
Where is Hardsider manufactured and assembled?
Every Hardsider is proudly assembled with meticulous attention to detail in Cincinnati, OH, USA.
Can I buy the roof top tent (sleeper) for my SUV?
In the future, yes! We’re calling it HardTent and it will be able to be installed on almost any vehicle that is larger than the HardTent dimensions, 96"x52". You'll just need two roof crossbars or a roof rack platform. Stay tuned for HardTent’s official launch.
How does financing work?
We've partnered with LightStream, the go-to financing partner for campers. LightStream provides RV loans and refinancing with rates starting at 7.49%* APR for those with AutoPay and excellent credit. Visit the Loan Page on LightStream’s website for more details and to apply.

Warranty
Hardsider 2-Year Limited Warranty
We build our products for real conditions, and we stand behind them.
Hardsider warrants that your product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of delivery under normal use.
What’s Covered
If something fails due to how it was made, we will provide replacement parts at no cost, including standard shipping.
What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
Damage from improper installation or modification
Misuse, abuse, or use outside intended conditions
Environmental damage (hail, corrosion, extreme weather, etc.)
Accidents, impacts, or off-road incidents beyond intended use
Electrical issues caused by improper wiring or power sources
Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect performance
Important Note on Wear Components
Some components are subject to natural wear over time. These components are covered only in the event of a defect in materials or workmanship, not for gradual performance decline due to use.

Labor is not included unless pre-approved in writing
